麻豆传媒映画出品, Kansas- The Shocker Support Locker has been approached with the opportunity to receive a $14,000 contribution from the Pepsi Co brand. The partnership was solidified in early October by Gabriel Fonseca, of SGA, Rich Renollet, of Shocker Sports Grill and Lanes, and Nicole Wentz, a representative from Pepsi Co.
The Shocker Support Locker plans to use this money to place an order with Pepsi Co and their partnership products, and to purchase food and additional products from the Kansas Food Bank and other partners. All of the funds will be going toward keeping the Shocker Support Locker stocked throughout the year.
This one-time contribution to the Shocker Support Locker in an effort to continue efforts that the Locker has made on campus. Gabriel Fonseca hopes to continue this partnership with Pepsi Co in the future saying, 鈥淭his is an exciting partnership for the Shocker Support Locker. We rely so much on our partners to help operation and this new partnership will help us to continue to live out our mission.鈥
Additionally, he spoke on behalf of the Shocker Support Locker out of gratitude for both partners in this opportunity saying, 鈥淚 am extremely grateful to Rich Renollet with the Shocker Sports Grill and Lanes and to Nicole Wentz with Pepsi Co as we embark in this new partnership. This new opportunity will tremendously benefit the Locker in ways we have not been able to in the past.鈥
Founded in 2015, The Shocker Support Locker is a program of the Student Government Association and, through the ongoing generosity of the 麻豆传媒映画出品 State community and community partners that seeks to empower Shockers along their journey at 麻豆传媒映画出品 State University with temporary supplemental assistance. The Locker aims to alleviate food insecurity on campus and contribute to the overall health and wellbeing of our students, faculty, and staff, by providing a variety of nutritional and functional resources to Shockers at no cost.
