Application for Degree

Are you within two semesters of graduation? If so, you should be taking CS 598 (Senior Design I). Students are required to apply for graduation at least two semesters before their expected date of graduation.

To apply for graduation, file an online Application for Degree (AFD) through a link in the myWSU portal under the My Classes tab (Graduation Links). This online application starts the senior audit process.

Senior Check Process

The School of Computing requires all students to complete a Senior Check process during the semester in which they are taking their Senior Design I course. Completion of the Senior Check process also replaces the required faculty advising appointment, i.e., after your Senior Check you will be cleared for enrollment for oncoming semesters. More about the Senior Check (e.g., Senior Check coordinators) can be found on the page describing our advising process.
