Thank you for providing College of Engineering undergrad students the opportunity to participate in a research project during 2021.
We are starting the process to offer projects for 2022 and make assignments and would like your input regarding any issues experienced, or suggestions that can make the program better.
Please take a few minutes to reflect on our process for selecting the students we used last year and provide your thoughts.
Thank you,
Ana Lazarin

Regarding the process we used in 2021 to match faculty and projects to students (collecting student's ranked choices, allowing faculty to rank the students interested in their projects, COE making the assignment), using a scale of 0 (lowest) to 5 (highest) please rate your overall impression of the process we used?
*
5 - the process worked well, no issues encountered, the student assigned was a good fit
4 - ran into a few minor issues, the student wasn't a right fit for the project, or too much time was required to participate in the selection to be beneficial to the project, still met objectives
3 - met some of the expectations, but not enough benefit for the investment
2 - met a few of the expectations, issues encountered were detrimental to progress on the research
1 - didn't meet any of the expectations
Please provide any suggestions or issues you would like considered in the 2022 application effort.
Overall, how did you feel the the project went?
Excellent - met all objectives/expectations or exceeded them
Satisfied - met the objectives but took more oversite or other intervention to achieve the goals
Not Satisfied - some objectives of the project were not met
What a disaster - won't participate in this again
Please provide any other input, suggestions, accolades, anything you want us to consider as we start the 2022 cycle. We appreciate your thoughts!
