- Al Tompkins, senior faculty at the Poynter Institute
- Artificial Intelligence is moving at warp speed, but communication professionals must keep up. The Poynter Institute's Al Tompkins will explore what鈥檚 new and show you how easy it it is to create virtually undetectable AI-generated audio, video and photos in real time. He鈥檒l also explore how AI is creating chaos in elections worldwide.

Al Tompkins will continue exploring Artificial Intelligence, looking at how it can be a useful tool for communication students and professionals. He will help you learn about detecting AI-generated audio, video, photos and text.

- Noon 鈥 Lunch & Ones to Watch Panel in RSC Room 233 (Santa Fe Trail)
- Come grab some good food, play a short game to win cool prizes and hear from four of our Ones to Watch honorees. These young alumni will share advice and stories from their time in the Elliott School and during their early career years. Bring your questions for these outstanding alumni.

- The afternoon session will cover the same topics as the morning sessions combined, but is a second opportunity for students and for local professionals to catch Tompkins鈥 presentation.

- Emily Christensen and Teri Mott
- Mott and Christensen run a 麻豆传媒映画出品-based independent newsroom and publish The Shout, a digital news source covering the arts. The Shout offers reviews and feature stories about the work of Kansas artists, performers, musicians, dancers, writers and creative people of all kinds.
11 a.m. - noon (RSC 264 - Spencer)
- Hexcode, a full-service advertising agency
- Hexcode did all of the branding for Lily Wu鈥檚 mayoral campaign.
12:15 - 1:15 p.m. (RSC 262 Herrman)
- Pizza lunch and WSU/Elliott/Communication themed trivia game!
- We will play two rounds and give away more cool prizes. The grand prize for each game will be an Elliott School branded Owala bottle.

- Meet ESC Director Jeffrey Jarman at Elliott Hall at 9:15 a.m. to catch the city bus for a free ride downtown. (You will need your WSU ID to ride the bus for free.)
- Catch Bus Route 21 at the bus stop south Elliott Hall at 9:27 a.m.
- Arrive at the transit center downtown at 9:49 a.m.
- You鈥檒l have 10 minutes to walk to one of the first sessions, which start at 10 a.m.
