This ensemble performs a repertoire that focuses on large forces of winds and percussion, featuring pieces from the traditional canon and exciting new works for winds. The Symphonic Band is dedicated to performing meaningful music that resonates with all participants. Comprised of students with diverse experiences and degree programs, the Symphonic Band offers a wonderful team-building environment and an excellent training ground for large ensemble performance. During operating hours, WSU students can present their Shocker Card and get a free ticket in advance at the Fine Arts Box Office in Duerksen Fine Arts Center. Tickets can be purchased online through the Fine Arts Box Office at or by phone at 316-978-3233.
