Engineering

is a free, drop-in tutoring and academic success center for engineering students. Their tutors are undergraduate engineering majors who provide academic support in about 80 engineering courses in subjects including AE, BME, CHEM, CS, EE, IME, MATH, ME, PHIL and PHYS.

Mathematics

is a free tutoring service for WSU students. The Lab is staffed by graduate students and exceptional undergraduate students studying mathematics and/or mathematics-related disciplines. In addition, numerous mathematics faculty members volunteer time in the Lab.

Study Skills & Specific Course Tutoring

The provides a wide range of resources regarding study tips and techniques. In addition, the Shocker Learning Center provides a wide-range of services, including Supplemental Instruction (SI), Tutoring, Peer Success Coaching, Strengthening Connections and Study Skills Workshops.

Test Anxiety

offers a variety of services, including assistance for test anxiety, procrastination, self-structuring and organization. In addition, offers make-up exams, distance exams, national testing and more. Take advantage of the various testing services offered at the university.

Writing

The is a free writing resource available to all WSU students. Trained undergraduate tutors from a variety of majors will help you at any stage of your writing - from brainstorming to later stage work and revisions. Also available are graduates of the B.A. program and graduate-level tutors, many of whom are working toward their M.A. in English or M.F.A. in Creative Writing.

Supplemental Instruction

is an international program developed to assist students with learning material in traditionally difficult classes. It is a series of weekly review sessions for students taking certain courses. SI sessions are led by a student who has previously succeeded in the course and focus on collaborative and active learning.
