Call for Abstracts
Breakout Sessions
The planning committee seeks proposals closely aligned with the conference theme that address strategies for system transformation, building workforce capacity, health equity, and engagement with the policy process and/or policy makers. Successful abstracts will clearly demonstrate alignment with one of these areas.
Submission Deadline: 11:59pm, September 20, 2024
Late submissions will not be accepted.
Notices of acceptance/decline will be sent on October 6, 2024.
Presentation Information:
- All breakout session proposals must be submitted via an abstract (online form).
- Presentations may include material that has been or will be presented elsewhere.
- Abstracts should not exceed 300 words.
- Presenters of any accepted presentations must register to attend the conference. Submitting an abstract proposal does not register you for conference attendance. Separate registration is required.

Poster Proposals
The planning committee seeks proposals for poster presentations that closely align with the conference theme, A New Day in Public Health, that address topics in Kansas Public Health.
Submission Deadline: 11:59pm October 6, 2024
Late submissions will not be accepted.
Notices of acceptance/decline will be sent on October 18, 2024.

Sponsor & Exhibitor Opportunities
Approximately 600 public health nurses, maternal and child health staff and public health professionals throughout the state are expected to attend. Exhibits will be displayed Tuesday, March 25 and Wednesday, March 26.
